Medication costs

In 2021, the team of Professor Yueqin Huang published an epidemiological study on "the prevalence of depression and the utilization of health services in China" in The Lancet Psychiatry, stating that only 9.5% of patients with depression in China had received treatment, and only 0.5% had received adequate treatment. For a large number of people with depression, there was a shortage of over 20000 psychologists. It led to a casual psychological counseling session costing hundreds to thousands of yuan, and nothing can likely be discussed. There was also a risk of privacy leakage.

For ordinary people, it is undoubtedly an expensive expense, and it is even more difficult for students to take it out.
